EARP Artist Residency and Permaculture Programme, Zivojina Misica 52, Erdevik Vojvodina, SERBIAThis course offers the required 72-hours of course work to achieve an official PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATE in only 9 days. 
This means that it is an intensive program with full days of lecture and practicals, as well as evening sessions to cover all the recommended material in such a short amount of time.It is ideal for individuals with jobs and families, who live locally and cannot take more than a week out of their regular lives, but still desire the experience of a full PDC.This course is designed to present the basic ideas and philosophies of Permaculture design for people who are interested in integrating this method into their personal and professional lives, as well as seeking others with similar interests.

Teacher: MIHAIL KOSSEV (mihailkossev.weebly.com) -- Mihail has been using and teaching Permaculture design since 2007.
He received his undergraduate education from New York University where he studied film, fine art and pedagogy. After graduation, he has specialized in Environmental Education, working with a wide diversity of ages and formats.
In every lesson, he makes the teaching methods to be as interactive as possible. He has many years experience in horticulture, which was the main subject he taught when he was a school teacher.
For the last two years, he has been touring Europe and the US teaching workshops on the subjects of Permaculture Design, Forest Gardening, Sustainable Food Systems, Seed-saving, Non-violent Communication and Soil Science.
He is especially interested nowadays in developing material and structure for the social elements of permaculture design.
Mihail is currently developing a forest garden in Bulgaria, while consulting and working with other projects throughout the region.

ABOUT ERDEVIK
EARP ERDEVIK International artist residency is located in Erdevik, Srem region in Vojvodina Serbia. The region is rich in vineyards, two fishing lakes, swimming pool and National park Fruska gora.
Erdevik is a small village with only one pub, bakery and the small market held only on Thursdays. Artist residency house has a large organically grown garden using permaculture principals.
From May there are plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit lasting till late November.
Culture, customs and colourful costumes of the multitude confessional society of Erdevik is exciting, represented by Serbs, Slovaks, Croats, Hungarians, Ruthenians, Montenegrian, Macedonians, Slovenians, Yugoslav and others.

Erdevik is rich in vineyard and it is presumed that the first vineyards in Erdevik were established as early as 276 AD, during the reign of the Roman Emperor Probus who brought grape-wine to the region of Srem. Wine is the symbol of the Erdevik village and was traditionally awarded with respectable prizes on the domestic and international Wine fairs that made famous sorts of Erdevik wines – traminac, risling, sauvignon, burgundy and the white table wine incorporated among the most famous vines of the Central Europe. Locals of Erdevik village /used to/ live and survive and prosper by cultivating the fertile land and producing wines.
